In the context of rapid digital transformation worldwide and in Vietnam, digital finance has increasingly emerged as a key driver of economic growth by improving resource allocation efficiency and strengthening linkages among economic actors. Following the administrative merger, Phu Tho Province has experienced an expanded economic development space, creating an urgent need to effectively leverage digital platforms to foster local economic growth. Against this backdrop, this paper evaluates the current state of digital finance development and analyzes its role in promoting economic growth in Phu Tho Province during the post-merger period. The findings provide policy implications for enhancing digital finance development and supporting sustainable economic growth in the province.
