The most prominent essence of this work is centred on the need for a more documented idea on the concept of reality in Igbo Ontology and by all means, helps to bring about profound knowledge and, therefore, contribute to scholarship. Admittedly, by philosophically analysing the past and the present practical contact with and observations of facts or events which leave serious impressions on the Igbo man in his universe, which is the main standpoint within which reality is analyzed in this project, one hopefully geared toward achieving to some extent the conclusions for the emergent African philosophy that goes over and above the Igbo tribal milieu. To this end, any student who wishes to carry out more studies on the concept of the reality in Igbo Ontology will invariably find this research work very expedient. It will serve as a valuable starting point or reference point. If this goal of provoking and inspiring further thoughts and studies on this subject matter is achieved, then the research endeavours would not be in vain. A qualitative research design was adopted for this study. We made use of data gotten from available literatures, unpublished essays, doctoral theses, journal articles and magazines. This thesis adopted the evaluative, analytic, historical and critical research approaches as means to achieve the objectives of the study.

French missionary Dallet (1874) wrote in his book that ‘The thousand character essay’ (It is called as ‘Tcheonzamun’ in Korean language) had been used as a textbook for Chinese character education for children and Dallet (1874) described that this same book had been utilized both in the ancient China and in the ancient Korea. For the present researcher, there were two methods for the translation. The first method for the translation is through Korean pronunciation of the Chinese characters on the Tcheonzamun poem. The second method is through the meaning of Chinese characters of the poem. The title of this study is ‘My husband, do you want our family (韓) to be miserable (弊)? Please give me your wife a lot of (煩) agony (刑), then, it will be so. Our family will be surely diminished and be poor!’ And the next is the result of the research of the poem (Tcheonzamun 577th-592nd).

Dallet (1874) wrote in his book that there were the ancient Chinese people and the ancient Korean people who utilized ‘The thousand character essay’ (In Korean language it is Tcheonzamun). Dallet (1874) described that both of the ancient people instructed their children with this book ‘Tcheonzamun’ for teaching the Chinese character. This is the study on the poem of ‘The thousand character essay’, (Tcheonzamun 145th-160th). And the title is ‘Please care for your health! It is in Korean language (Mom-eul A-ggyeo-ya-zi-yo!)’.

French missionary Dallet (1874) wrote in his book that both the ancient Chinese people and the ancient Korean people used ‘The thousand character essay’(It is called as ‘Tcheonzamun’ in Korea). Its purpose was to instruct Chinese character for their children (Dallet, 1874). The range of this study was the poem of 16 letters from ‘The thousand character essay ‘, Tcheonzamun 145th-160th. The title of this study is ‘The husband here is exactly the figure of Augustin. No, it is not true! 149-152 四(Sa)-人=口 大(Dae)-人=一 五(Oh) 常(Sang) The wife, do you want to say (口) a thing (一) to your husband? You the wife must always (常) prepare and explain 5 things (五), or you must always repeat a thing five times. Because your husband can not understand well your words! He the husband is less intelligent than you the wife. 153-156 恭(Kong)-心=共 惟(Yu)-心=隹 鞠(Gug) 養(Yang) Do you want to live together (共) with a bird (隹)? When you feed the bird (養), you must treat the animal very roughly (鞠). It is same. When you the wife live together with your husband, you must say to him your husband very roughly! 157-160 豈(Ki) 敢(Gam) 毁(Hwe) 傷(Sang) If you the intelligent wife do not act such a way to your foolish husband, he your husband will treat you badly (毁). And your husband, he will hurt (傷) you the intelligent wife again and again. How (豈) do you endure (敢) such an unhappy life?.

In order to instruct their children for Chinese characters the book was used. For the present study, the translation was done through the meaning of Chinese character. Because my wife, you (彼) are responsible for this fault (短)!”, 189-192 器(Ki) 欲(Yog) 難(Nan) 量(Lyang). My husband, do you know my desire (欲)? Do you know how the quantity (器) of your wife’s desire? The desire of me your wife, it is too great to tell you (難). I cannot even say the quantity (量)!

And the number of such persons becomes as big as a thousand(千). This thing can happen on the common and small family(家)! 505-508 高(Ko) 冠(Gwan) 陪(Bae) 輦(Ryeon) If your family is same to such a warm family, you can carry(陪) the highest person(高) into a wagon(輦) among the very precious persons(冠). 509-512 驅(Gu) (穀-禾+車)(Gog) 振(Zin) 纓(Yeong) And if your family is similar to such a vital family, you can make the wheel(穀-禾+車) to turn at the higher strength . You can ride(驅) the wagon at full speed with shaking(振) the band(纓) of hat!

French missionary Dallet (1874) wrote that the ancient Chinese people on Tchi’n era utilized ‘The thousand character essay’. This book was called in Korea ‘Tcheonzamun’. This time, the poem of (Tcheonzamun 513th-528th) was studied for the work of translation. And the title of this work is ‘I am lucky, because I have three sisters and a brother at home! (Hyeongze Maneun Zibe Saneun Zaemi!)’ The present researcher translated three times on the different method. <Number in Tcheonzamun Chinese characters (Pronunciation of Korean language in English alphabet)> 513-516 世 (Se) 祿(Log) 侈(Tchi) 富(Bu). The husband, do you think that a lot of money (富) is necessary (侈) for the good behavior or the favorable act (祿) to your wife (世)? 517-520 車(Tcha) 駕(Ga) 肥(Bi) 輕(Gyeong). No, it is not so! Dear husband, if you want your wife (車) to do good (駕) for you, you have to treat (肥) your wife properly (輕). In this way, when you want your wife to help you (車駕), the work will become advantage for your wife herself (肥輕)!
